We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual CViSB Systems Biology workshop February 24-26, 2020 in La Jolla, CA. This two-and-a-half day workshop will emphasize computational systems biology approaches to improved understanding of host response to viral infection, across a spectrum of methods and applications. Among topics discussed in the presentations will be included: evolution of virus and host immune response, antibody repertoire, antibody-mediated immune functions, immune cell receptor recognition, immune cell communication and signaling, design of clinical treatments, and patient population analysis. Approaches described will range from structural and quantitative biochemistry/biophysics models to machine learning algorithms to dynamical systems simulations.
This workshop is open to grad students, postdocs and ‘junior’ investigators but space is limited. Applications are due no later than January 3rd, 2020. To learn more and to apply, please visit https://cvisb.org/workshop/.
